Simon

Unit Leader - Simon (Buff)

Simon has been involved with Scouting since 1974 and specifically with the Explorer Scout Section here in Torfaen for five years following the creation of FreeSpirit ESU. He has a keen interest in all outdoor sports especially kayaking, hillwalking and climbing and enjoys camping (at any time of the year) specifically wilderness camping and international jamborees.

Assistant Unit Leader - Richard (Jim)

Richard has also been with FreeSpirit since it was started in 2003. He has a keen interest in all outdoor sports specifically climbing and Kayaking and has a wealth of international Scouting experience.

Mike has recently rejoined Scouting following a 'gap-year'! He has many years Scouting experience locally and has specific skills in climbing and backwoodsmanship.
