Today was our opportunity to take a “small” walk in the hills! Our intrepid instructors, Luke and Liam, directed us to a loch side car park at the far side of Loch Long. From here, our walk led us onwards and upwards into the mountains for the day. Accompanying us were Graham Simpson (MSP for Central Scotland) and his main right hand man and communications Officer, Danny.
900 meters, and a few hours later, found us at the summit of The Cobbler. We then descended off the back of the mountain and headed down the other ridge until the drop off. A fairly steep decent through very wet grass until we finally stumbled back into the car park…totally shattered, and home for tea.
